Put Yourself In The Game

When starting a new game as either Player 1 or Player 2, you choose a name for yourself and for your home planet. You are required to choose a player name, but if you leave the home planet name blank, a randomly chosen name will be used.

At any point in the game you can rename any of the planets you own by right-clicking on them in the galaxy map, and entering the new name (although the same name cannot be used for more than one planet).

You can change the default picture used in the Intel screen throughout the game to deliver important messages. Simply add a valid bitmap file to the game directory called "intel.bmp" and it will be used instead.

Similarly, you can change the picture of your opponent seen in the message console. Add a bitmap file called "enemy.bmp" to the game directory and it will be used instead of the default enemy picture. You may want to exchange pictures with your opponent. Put your webcam to good use!
