Research


Click the research button on the left side of the screen, or the research icon in the planet management screen to go to the research screen. Choose from the available technologies and assign teams of scientists to complete these projects. As each technology is researched, new opportunities for research become available.

The more teams assigned to a problem, the faster a solution will be found. The costs of research vary depending on the topic selected and the number of teams assigned to the problem. In general, however, assigning more than 4 teams to a problem does not speed up the research process any further.

The Technology Tree screen shows all of the available technologies, and charts your progress throughout the game:
